hehe ok the a cupella thing is back and for all of you wondering what hte music will be like this is it exept i want it to be a bit slower (with my vocals) hehe battlecat and i got the idea for this song at the beginning of the month and ive been fiddiling around with the vocals this is him singing and doing the music (just a rouph draft to get the idea)

and after he made this hard copy i chandes the lyrics a bit so here they are injoy! (hes gonna kill me for this!)

You’ve suffered a loss
You’re feeling left out
River of tears
An ocean of doubt

Taking some time
To ease your mind
The faith of love
And peace you will find

Ohh…Ohh
Ohh

When all is in doubt
And no one’s around
Look in the mirror
Answers are found

Believe in yourself
Look deep inside
The answers are there
Let your heart be your guide

Ohh…Ohh
Ohh…

Don’t get yourself down
It’s okay to cry
This, too, will pass
You just have to try

Don’t put yourself down
Don’t ask yourself “why?”
The love of one’s self
Is never a lie?

Rodeo

Straight up country, for a friend of mine who was a bronco champ... Turns out he didn't like the song, thought it was tongue in cheek!!! Is there any other way to write a country song??? Did it on my 8 track at home, played all the parts and sang all the parts. Kept me off the streets for a few hours anyway...

Wasting my time

time to wake up and go to work
i brush my teeth and grab my hat
just because I'm not too excited
donut mean I'm not trying to survive

6 am the day has started
the consumers they line in file
I'm just filling up there coffee
i am there just to waste the time

there's a judgde in a court and a man
pleading for his life

there's a always a mall
full of kids board with life

and time goes by

I'm out of work and i am hungry
i pull into next drive thru place
its a girl my age that takes my order
she looks like shes wasting her time

I ask what are you doing all this for
a girl like you could reach the stars
she made smile and said her daughter
shes gonna grow up better than her mother

life is always better
when your stoned

i am only 18
Ive lived allot of life

but I'm still a child

solo

i make it home i but am tried
i grab the guitar and sing all night
one day ill be a famous writer
maybe then i wont be wasting my time

i wish i wasn't so lonely
chasing dreams that never come true
its like I'm stuck in attic or a cellar
its home i have a hard time getting to

the world feels so heavy
when your young

will tomorrow be the same
or will i change

only time will tell

Blue Jay

Right. I hate to run through and re-replay things, so I fixed something in the second verse when I fucked it up, I made a few little errors elsewhere. Like in the final chorus, but I doubt anyone will notice over my shitty playing.

Edit: Also. I cannot sing, so if you'd rather hear an accoustic version without vocals, give me a buzz and I will crash record one.
